The draft has come to a conclusion and many of the world’s top prospects hope to find their way into super stardom in the NBA.

Zion Williamson has been in the spotlight since he was in the eighth grade. After his one spectacular season at Duke it was no surprise that he went number one to the Pelicans. New Orleans plans to deal Anthony Davis and hopes that he can replace what they are losing.

Going second to the Grizzlies was Ja Morant from Murray State. He had a great season with the Racers and lead his team in a March Madness run. Memphis got rid of Mike Conley and took the point guard early in the draft. Morant was not recruited by many schools coming out of high school.

Tennessee was well reprsented in this year’s draft. Darius Garland from Vanderbilt and Jordan Bone from Tennessee both went to high school in Nashville. Garland went to Brentwood Academy and Bone went to Ensworth. Also selected were two more Volunteers in Admiral Schofield and Grant Williams. Belmont’s Dylan Windler was selected by the Cavs joining Garland.
