2019 NFL Draft First Round

The 2019 NFL draft has kicked off in Nashville, Tennessee. The Giants and the Patriots have the most pick in this years draft with 12. The Browns, Cowboys and Saints do not have any picks in the first round. The Colts joined them after they traded their pick to the Redskins. The Raiders (3) and the Packers (2) have more than one pick in the first round after their off season trades and Washington (2) after the trade during the draft.

The 2019 Heisman trophy winner was also drafted ninth in the MLB draft.

#2 San Francisco 49ers- Nick Bosa (DE, Ohio State)

#3 New York Jets- Quinnen Williams (DT, Alabama)

#4 Oakland Raiders- Clelin Ferrell (DE, Clemson)

#5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Devin White (ILB, LSU)

#6 New York Giants- Daniel Jones (QB, Duke)

#7 Jacksonville Jaguars- Josh Allen (DE, Kentucky)

#8 Detroit Lions- T.J. Hockenson (TE, Iowa)

#9 Buffalo Bills- Ed Oliver (DT, Houston)

#10 Denver Broncos (Trade to Pittsburgh Steelers)- Devin Bush (ILB, Michigan)

#11 Cincinnati Bengals- Jonah Williams (OT, Alabama)

#12 Green Bay Packers- Rashan Gary (DE, Michigan)

#13 Miami Dolphins- Christian Wilkins (DT, Clemson)


Clemson had three defensive linemen taken in the first round.

#21 Seattle Seahawks ( Trade to Green Bay Packers) - Darnell Savage Jr. (S, Maryland

#22 Baltimore Ravens (Trade to Philadelphia Eagles)- Andre Dillard (T, Washington State)

HIGHLGHTS

  • Dwayne Haskins falls to 15th after many expected him to go top 5.

  • Denver trades to Pittsburgh for pick 20 and 52.

  • The Titans draft pick Jeffery Williams was caught on film assaulting a woman in 2016.

  • Seattle trades their 21st pick to Green Bay for their 30th, 114th and 118th pick.

  • Ravens trade their pick to the Eagles for pick no. 25, a fourth round pick and sixth round pick.

  • Clemson had three defensive tackles chosen in the first round.

  • Colts trade pick 26 to Washington for pick 46 and 2020 second-round.

  • Alabama four total selections.

  • Rams trade pick 31 to Falcons for pick 45 and 79.

  • The SEC had 11 picks in the first round.
