Uncut Gems is the title of the movie that Sandler is starring in written and directed by the Safdie Brothers.
He plays the role of a jewelry store owner named Howard Ratner. Originally Jonah Hill was cast to play him. It will tell the story of his bad gambling habits and what he must go through to pay off the money he owes.
The Weeknd and Kevin Garnett are also in the film playing themselves. December 18th is the official release date nationwide.
