Best Games of College Football Week Three

Writer's picture: Brennan TimberlakeBrennan Timberlake

There are three top 25 matchups this week. It shall be a great day to watch some college football.

#7 Notre Dame VS. #3 Georgia

The Bulldogs are host to this game, and they hope to continue their playoff hopes. If they can win today it will look good on their resume as they continue the SEC schedule.

Two years ago, Georgia came out of South Bend with a win in a very close one. Notre Dame is using this as fuel as they look for revenge. Ian Book is a veteran dual threat quarterback and has experience winning after they went undefeated in the regular season of 2018.

Game time is 7:00 on CBS.

#11 Michigan VS. #13 Wisconsin

This is a BIG 10 game that will dictate who has the upper hand in the conference. Both have started the season 3-0.

Jonathan Taylor has been spectacular and arguably the best running back in the nation. The Wolverines hope to contain him and win on the road.

The game starts early at 11:00 A.M. CST on FOX.

#8 Auburn VS. #17 Texas A&M

It’s another SEC game between ranked teams. Both have already played big games.

Auburn got a big win over Oregon and the Aggies played top ranked Clemson.

Jimbo Fisher has made the transition to the SEC. He wants to beat the Tigers after losing a close one last year.

Game time is 2:30 on CBS.

#22 Washington VS. BYU

This may not seem like much of a game to the common eye because BYU is not ranked but they have won two big games on the road. The Cougars have played and won two overtime games in a row. Now they have Washington at home.

Jacob Eason has assumed the starting role at Washington. They won this matchup last year and hope to crack BYU’s stout defense so far this season.
