Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to Have Battle Pass

The developers of the game, Activision, announced that they will be launching a battle pass instead of loot boxes.

Much like Fortnite you will be able to unlock cosmetic items. The previous COD game featured loot boxes which many people were unhappy with because of the system that came down to chance whether you got worth value items. They have also said that this will not be available at the launch next week but will come “later this year.”
