The fifth season of Last Chance U will be the last junior college football team followed throughout their season.
Netflix has also announced that there will be a basketball program featured next. The team will be East Los Angeles Community College. In 2021 is when this season will be out.
As for the football team this season will highlight Laney College out of Oakland, California. Their most prominent alum is C.J. Anderson who went on to play the rest of his career at California-Berkeley then would go on to play in the NFL. He started for the Broncos in Super Bowl 50. July 28th is the release date.
