Fortnite Week 1 Qualifiers

The first week of the Fortnite World Cup qualifiers has begun and streamers will be preparing for week two on Twitch and YouTube. Players around the globe are all playing for the $1 million dollar prize pool in New York on July 26th and 27th.

You can check out the stream here when it goes live. Week two will begin this weekend April 20th and 21st at 3 P.M. CST.

The scoring system is 10 points for a Victory Royale, 2nd-5th place gets 7 points, 6th-15 gets 5 points, 16th-25th gets 3 and each elimination is 1 point. The top 3,000 players advance to the final round on Sundays.

Although many want to see their favorites competing in the tournament none of them qualified just yet but they will have another opportunity. Watch highlights of the week 1 final below and check out some of the top streamers practicing for the World Cup.
