With over $90 million grossed in the first weekend it beats Venom’s opening weekend record.
On top of that it beat the Monday box office record also set by Venom.
Jaoquin Phoenix’s role in this movie is gaining lots of attention. He is receiving lots of praise for his depiction of the Joker. With the film also coming out around Halloween the popularity will only increase.
