Just one week after the Super Bowl the XFL revitalized after nearly 20 years.
Vince McMahon, the CEO of the WWE, has returned the XFL to TV. In 2001 there was one single season that featured many WWF/WWE personalities. It featured many rule changes from the NFL such as no PATs and jersey nicknames.
The 2020 XFL has eight teams with players who are getting another shot at playing professional football. All the games can be watched on Fox Sports, ESPN and ABC. There will ten regular season games with a two-week postseason. It also has a focus on gambling.

McMahon owns a stake in DraftKings and they plan on running their own official fantasy football service.
Some of the interesting rules changes are the 25 second play clock, overtime being decided by a five-round shootout much like the NCAA, no extra points and kickoffs being set at the 25-yard line encouraging more returns.
This weekend the Seattle Dragons and the DC Defenders played. Also, the Los Angeles Wildcats and the Houston Roughnecks kick off the XFL’s new season.
