MLB Trade Deadline Moves and Rumors

Tomorrow is the final day for the MLB teams to complete trades for this season and there are many big stars that will most likely be suiting up for another team.

So far Toronto has been the ones making moves as of late by trading away two pitchers in David Phelps and Marcus Stroman. In return they got prospects and money. Stroman was traded to the Mets which raises speculation of what they plan on doing with Noah Syndergaard. The former Cy Young winner might be dealt to another team. Until the decision on his future is made many teams will not be making moves until then.

Andrew Cashner was traded to the Red Sox from the Orioles. Boston hopes to make a run at the Wild Card spot.

Kansas City dealt Home Bailey to the Athletics who is having his best season to date.

Madison Bumgarner is also rumored to be on the chopping block too. The Braves, Dodgers and Yankees are a few of the teams who could land the super star pitcher.

For the most part this year’s trade deadline is filled with pitchers. Although these are the moves that have been made so far there are still some teams such as San Diego and Cincinnati who are all but out of contentions this year.
