The Blue Raiders showed signs of hope week one against top ten ranked Michigan and continue to prepare for their first home game.
On the first possession of the game MTSU recovered a fumble. On third down of the next possession Asher O’Hara ran for an 18-yard touchdown in his first collegiate start. They held a 7-3 for some time in the first quarter but the Wolverines talent shined too bright.
Although the Blue Raiders lost 40-21, they still found a way to get on the scoreboard early. O’Hara threw for 217 yards which is a good start against a very tough opponent.
Their next opponent is against Tennessee State at Floyd Stadium at 6:00 P.M. and it will be on ESPN3. This in state matchup should end in a Blue Raider win with a nice crowd of fans who have been waiting for the first home game of the season. The defense looked solid against of the nation’s best offenses last week and hope they can put it all together this Saturday.
There will be postgame fireworks, and this will be the debut of the Beer Garden. Floyd Stadium has added new editions to make the fan experience better.
