The Conference Semi Finals are coming to an end in the 2019 NBA Playoffs.
WESTERN CONFERENCE
On Friday night the Warriors finished off the Rockets in game 6 without Kevin Durant. Steph Curry had 33 points all the in second half and Klay Thompson finished with 27.
James Harden and Chris Paul combined for 62 points, but it was not enough as Houston fell to Golden State for the third year in a row.
Portland and Denver are set to face off in game 7 seven Sunday at 2:30 on ABC. Damian Lillard lead the Trailblazers in the last game on a comeback in the third quarter to hold off Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. This series has been back and forth including a 4 OT game that Portland came out on top in. Whoever wins today will face off against the Warriors and will be a matchup that they have not seen in the Conference Finals.
EASTERN CONFERENCE
Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the Bucks to an easy five game series win over the Celtics. Although Boston did steal game 1 Milwaukee came back to win 4 straight. In game 4 Giannis had a monster game scoring 39 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Kyrie Irving’s future with the Celtics in questionable after their struggles in the playoffs.
Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals between the Raptors and 76ers will be played Sunday at 6 P.M. on TNT. Kawhi Leonard looks to lead his new team further into the playoffs. Much like the series between Portland and Denver this has been a very close series. Joel Embiid is having a monster year averging 27 points and 13 rebounds.
