Albert Pujols now has 1,993 RBI throughout his career which is fifth all time passing Babe Ruth.
In the third inning against the Mariners Saturday night he hit a double tying the famous Yankees slugger. He then went on to hit a solo home run putting him ahead of Ruth.
Although Pujols career has been on a steady decline since joining the Angels he is still considered one of the greatest hitters to play the game. He is sixth all time in home runs with 635. Without a doubt his time with St. Louis has guaranteed him a spot in the Hall of Fame.
