After a very short time with the team and never suiting up for Oakland Antonio Brown's contract has been terminated with the team.
From his time in Pittsburgh he has been surrounded by drama. He got into altercations with Ben Roethlisberger and Juju Smith-Schuster. This caused him to demand a trade and eventually got sent to the Raiders for draft picks.
While going through training camp he had an injury to his feet from a cryotherapy chamber. This caused him to miss some time in practice.
Then news broke that he was going to retire if he couldn’t wear the helmet he wanted to. Allegedly they came to an agreement in that.
Now just this week he took to his Instagram to slam him general manager Mike Mayock for fining him for missing training camp. This was the last straw for the Raiders front office, and they have now let the receiver go. It is not sure his future in the NFL.
