So far the Angels front office have signed a new manager and two star players.
In October Joe Maddon agreed to a three year deal with the Angels. He was the 2015 manager of the year and 2016 World Series champion with the Cubs.
They have also signed third baseman Anthony Rendon and starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner.
Rendon had a breakout year with Washington hitting 34 home runs and batting .319. He signed a seven year deal worth $245 million.
The Angels signed Bumgarner signed a deal worth $85 million for five years. He is a three time World Series champion and has a career ERA of 3.13.
The Angels hope to rise out of the shadow of the Dodgers in Los Angeles and hope to build a team around Mike Trout.
