The potential lottery pick James Wiseman is no longer apart of the Memphis Tigers basketball team.
His college career ends after just three games. The NCAA ruled him ineligible after accepting a loan from a friend for moving expenses from Nashville to Memphis. Wiseman attended Ensworth High School.
He follows in the same steps as Kyrie Irving who played just about the same amount of games at Duke and still was a top pick in the draft.
Wiseman may be an inspiration to others who choose not to be a part of a college program. The NCAA’s rules and standards are scaring away some of the country’s top talent.
The Tigers remain a title contender and a top 25 team despite this loss.
