Top High School Basketball Recruit Considering Ditching NCAA

Mikey Williams tweeted a couple days ago that he may be leaning toward attending an HBCU.

He is in the class of 2023 so the decision is a few years away but this would be a huge detriment for larger programs. Williams scored an impeccable 77 points as a Freshman which was a California state record. The guard has stired a lot of debate on if the traditional path to the NBA is going extinct.
