Toronto Takes Game 1 at Home

The Raptors are leading Golden State 1-0 in the 2019 NBA Finals.

Patrick Siakam led Toronto with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The final score was 118-109 and the game was played at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and their crowd definitely made a difference. Marc Gasol and Kawhi also came up huge combining for 43 points.

The first quarter had many lead changes but after that the Warriors were not able to regain momentum.

Although this is Steph Curry’s fifth straight finals appearance, he has never won Finals MVP. He finished the night with 34 points. Golden State is now 31-2 in game played without Kevin Durant. Coach Steve Kerr has announced that he will not be available for the next game in the series.

Game 2 will also be hosted by the Raptors Sunday night at 7:00 P.M. on ABC (ESPN).
