Jovante Moffatt and Tyshun Render were signed to free agent deals after the draft.
Render was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. He gained a lot of attention on social media when news of his private workout with Bill Belichick got out. The Blue Raider defensive end was not invited to the combine.
MTSU’s defense was mostly led by Moffatt last season. He snagged three interceptions and had 98 total tackles. The Browns agreed to terms with the defensive back.
