#19 Iowa VS. Iowa State

The perceived game of the week by college gameday is this in state rivalry game. They play at 3:00 on Fox Sports 1.

The Cyclones started the year off ranked #21 but had a scare against FCS opponent Northern Iowa winning by three points in triple overtime. So far this is the only game they have played.

Nate Stanley has led the way for Iowa after they have scored over 30 points in their first two games. They are 2-0 and 1-0 in conference after beating Rutgers last week. He has six touchdowns and zero picks this season.

#24 USC VS. BYU

The Trojans are no stranger to being ranked and they have reached the top 25 for the first time this year. They defeated Stanford last week with the help of a freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis after the started went down with an ACL injury. He threw for 377 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start.

Although BYU has struggled against the run this season, they still find themselves at 1-1. They went on the road to Knoxville and came out with a win. Thankfully for Cougar fans, USC will be more focused on the pass which is why this should be a closer game then people think.

The start time is 2:30 on ABC.

Duke VS. MTSU

Both teams are coming into this game with a 1-1 record. Both quarterbacks have comparable numbers and the Blue Devils are playing on the road. Don’t expect this game to be a blow out.

Asher O’Hara has shown that he is no stranger to competition after his week one performance to Michigan. Also, the Blue Raider defense hopes to improve as they expect a big crowd for the game.

Duke’s lone win comes against FCS’s North Carolina A&T and they got blown out by Alabama week one.

The game starts at 6:00 and can be watched on ESPN+.

Stanford VS. #17 UCF

The Golden Knights want all the smoke. They come in after winning a BCS bowl last year and hope to come out with another undefeated season. UCF wants the respect of all the power five schools. They are 2-0 after playing two smaller teams and this will be their first real test.

Stanford lost last week to USC in blow out fashion. It was their first week ranked and they blew it. Now they have to face off against UCF who has a very high-octane offense. Can their defense show up?

Game time is 2:30 on ESPN.

Arizona State VS. #18 Michigan State

Last season Arizona State beat the Spartans. They face off again but this tine at Spartan Stadium. Michigan State is ranked top 20 this year and hope to remain in title conversations with a win against a PAC 12 team

Expect this to be a high scoring game. Although Arizona State struggled a bit against Sacramento state they should bounce back and play to their competition.

Check this game out at 3:00 on FOX.

Kansas State VS. Mississippi State

This game is really unpredictable. An SEC versus BIG 12 matchup has a chance to be a good game to watch. Both teams are undefeated this season but have not played anybody worth note yet.

James Gilbert for the Wildcats has shined for his team so far with 218 yards and three touchdowns. Can the Bulldogs hold him down?

Game is an early start at 11:00 A.M. on ESPN.
