With Sony and Microsoft unveiling new consoles this holiday season gamers may need some help deciphering pros and cons of each.

Both are available for preorder but are going out of stock very quickly from every website from Best Buy to Gamestop. A new edition to the experience was added to buying this new gaming system by each company creating monthly payment plans.

SPECS

Xbox Series X vs. PS5

The Series X appears to have a larger hard drive storage with 1TB as opposed to PS5 with 825 GB. Also the PS5 will be able to process nearly 5GB per second edging out the Xbox which should give it a faster loading time. Both can be ran through 8K monitors but realistically this is irrelevant because most people are not going to have this technology. Possibly the biggest selling point between to two is the game exclusives. Sony has exclusive rights to Spiderman and also has announced a brand new Harry Potter game. To counter that Microsoft has a monthly subscription to a Game Pass where players have access to a huge amount of games.

At the end of the day you can't go wrong with either. It's really down to preference as some games are beginning to have cross generation and cross console gameplay.
