The Pelicans first pick in the draft Zion Williamson is reported to have a meniscus injury that will cause his to miss 6-8 weeks.
He did play most of the preseason games but missed the last. This could be a concern to New Orleans fans, but it appears as though they are taking necessary precautions.
Williamson averaged 22.3 points per game in his short life with the Pelicans. They expect him to vary the load of this squad after the traded Anthony Davis to the Lakers.
